So today was a bit of a mental day in the gym. I hurt my knee when I tripped during our trail run on Sunday and can't squat very effectively these days. It has taken all of the power out of my knee and is really bothering it. My Clean and Jerks weren't bad, but every time I had to drive up in the front squat, I hated it. I put up some nice numbers, but I was not happy. I forget that 215 is actually a pretty big number. For me its not actually that big anymore and I wish that number was much higher. If my knee wasn't all jacked up, might that number be higher? Maybe. With a jacked up knee, those are still some pretty good numbers. I'm gonna get some good sleep tonight, Wake up around 7 and have a productive day tomorrow and maybe even hit some golf balls. We'll see how it goes. There is a range right by our house so I may do that at some point tomorrow before I fly. What do you think people would say if I chalked up instead of put on a glove at the driving range?
Much love.
